Pest control

A website for pest control, live in minutes

Two things decide the call: how quickly you can be there, and whether anybody will know you were.

Takes less than a minute · no sign-up or credit card required
A real Clay site, built from a Google listing

Almost nobody searching for pest control wants to talk about it. They want it dealt with, quietly, and preferably before anyone comes round.

So the page answers the awkward questions before they are asked. Clay builds it from your Google listing and you add how fast you come out, what a treatment costs, and whether your van says what you do on the side. Each pest gets its own heading, because that is what people type.

Why Clay

It pulls your info from Google

No blank page. Clay reads your Google business listing and fills in your name, photos, hours, map and reviews automatically.

A real website, not just links

Menus, bookings, a shop, a gallery, contact, Clay is a full site that also works as a link-in-bio, not a list of buttons.

Live in minutes, free to start

Search, pick a style, publish. No signup to see it, no credit card, and a free live address at name.clay.site.

Yours to grow

Bring a custom domain, add pro widgets, run multiple sites. It scales from a bio link to a full business site.

The awkward part

Say it before they have to ask

Whether the van is unmarked, whether you come in the evening, whether the neighbours have to be told. Those are the questions somebody is embarrassed to ask on the phone and relieved to find already answered.

It costs three lines and it is the reason one firm gets rung and another does not.

The searches

Every pest is its own heading

Mice, rats, wasps, bedbugs, cockroaches, moths, fleas. Nobody searches for pest control; they search for the thing that is in their kitchen, and the page that names it is the page that comes back.

Each one takes a heading and two lines: what you do about it and how many visits it usually takes.

Questions

How long does it really take?

Most people are live in two to three minutes, search your business, pick a style, publish. There is nothing to install and no signup needed to see your site first, because it is built from your Google listing rather than from a blank page.

Is it free?

Yes. You get a live site on your own name.clay.site address with a small badge in the footer, and nothing expires. The paid plan is your own domain, the badge removed and the pro features.

Do I need any tech skills?

None. If you can type your business name, you can build a Clay site: the live page is the editor, so you tap the thing you want to change. There is no code anywhere, and nothing to install or keep updated, see the WordPress comparison for what that saves.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, buy it wherever you like and point it at Clay on a paid plan; the certificate is issued for you. Until then the free name.clay.site address is a real one you can print, and it keeps working afterwards.

Why name each pest separately?

Because nobody searches for pest control. They search for mice, wasps or bedbugs, and the page carrying that word is the page that comes back. Each one takes a heading and two lines on the same page.

Should I mention that my van is unmarked?

If it is, yes, and prominently. It is the question people are too embarrassed to ask on the phone, and being the firm that answers it without being asked is most of the reason they ring you.

Can I show prices?

For the common jobs, yes, along with how many visits they usually take. The second half matters more than the first: somebody quoted a price without a visit count does not know what they have agreed to.
