A website for food halls, live in minutes
Nobody is choosing a dish here. They are choosing a building where four people who want four different things can all eat.
A real Clay site, built from a Google listing
A food hall is not a restaurant with a long menu. It is a landlord, a room and a rotating cast, and the page belongs to the room.
So the traders are a band you edit when one leaves, each with a line saying what they do, and the hours are the HALL's hours with any stall that keeps its own noted beside it. Clay builds the site from your Google listing, and the point of the place gets said out loud: everybody eats something different at the same table.
Why Clay
It pulls your info from Google
No blank page. Clay reads your Google business listing and fills in your name, photos, hours, map and reviews automatically.

A real website, not just links
Menus, bookings, a shop, a gallery, contact, Clay is a full site that also works as a link-in-bio, not a list of buttons.

Live in minutes, free to start
Search, pick a style, publish. No signup to see it, no credit card, and a free live address at name.clay.site.

Yours to grow
Bring a custom domain, add pro widgets, run multiple sites. It scales from a bio link to a full business site.

The traders, with a line each
A name and four words. Neapolitan pizza, Sichuan noodles, oysters, coffee. That list is the entire reason somebody picks this building over a restaurant.
Keep it current. A stall that left in spring and is still on the page in September is the complaint that gets left about the hall rather than about the trader.
For somebody who has never been
Say whether you order at the counter or at the table, whether one bill is possible, and whether you can sit anywhere. Those three unknowns are why people go to a restaurant instead.
Say what happens with a table of six on a Friday. Held, first come, or a bookable few: whichever it is, it decides whether the group comes at all.
What you can switch on
Every one of these is part of your site, not a plugin to install. Turn on what you use and leave the rest off.
What it looks like when it is live
Drawn rather than described, the page, the address, and what it can switch on.

Questions
How long does it really take?
Most people are live in two to three minutes, search your business, pick a style, publish. There is nothing to install and no signup needed to see your site first, because it is built from your Google listing rather than from a blank page.
Is it free?
Yes. You get a live site on your own name.clay.site address with a small badge in the footer, and nothing expires. The paid plan is your own domain, the badge removed and the pro features.
Do I need any tech skills?
None. If you can type your business name, you can build a Clay site: the live page is the editor, so you tap the thing you want to change. There is no code anywhere, and nothing to install or keep updated, see the WordPress comparison for what that saves.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, buy it wherever you like and point it at Clay on a paid plan; the certificate is issued for you. Until then the free name.clay.site address is a real one you can print, and it keeps working afterwards.
Should each trader get a page?
A line each is usually enough. The building is what is being chosen, and a page per stall is a site that goes stale the week somebody moves out.
How do I handle different stall hours?
Publish the hall's hours as the headline and note the exceptions beside the trader. One number for the building, and the truth beside the name.
Do I need bookings?
For big tables it pays: how the booking works holds a few and leaves the rest to walk in.
