A website for cocktail bars, live in minutes

A real Clay site, built from a Google listing

One photograph of the room, the list, and whether there is any chance of a table.

Takes less than a minute · no sign-up or credit card required

Nobody researches a cocktail bar in the afternoon. The search happens at ten at night, outdoors, in a group, on one person's phone.

So the page opens on the room and the list is the next thing on it. Clay builds the site from your Google listing, and the one line nobody else writes goes near the top: whether somebody can walk in tonight, or whether every seat is spoken for.

Why Clay

a seated man with a cocktail

It pulls your info from Google

No blank page. Clay reads your Google business listing and fills in your name, photos, hours, map and reviews automatically.

A real website, not just links

Menus, bookings, a shop, a gallery, contact, Clay is a full site that also works as a link-in-bio, not a list of buttons.

Search, pick a style, publish. No signup to see it, no credit card, and a free live address at name.clay.site.

Yours to grow

Bring a custom domain, add pro widgets, run multiple sites. It scales from a bio link to a full business site.

Your photographs, already sorted

Clay reads the pictures on your Google listing, grades them, crops them for the shape each band needs and puts the best one at the top. Nothing to upload, nothing to resize.

The room

One photograph, taken after dark

A cocktail bar is sold entirely on atmosphere and atmosphere does not photograph at four in the afternoon with the lights up. Shoot it at nine, with people in it.

Do not open on a drink. Every bar has a photograph of a drink and they all look the same; the room is the part that is yours.

The list

Priced, and readable on a phone in the dark

Names, a short line each and a price. Somebody deciding between you and the place across the square wants to know the number and nobody wants to ask.

Say what happens on the door. Walk ins until nine, tables held for two hours, whatever the truth is. It is the question the group is actually arguing about.

Questions

How long does it really take?

Most people are live in two to three minutes, search your business, pick a style, publish. There is nothing to install and no signup needed to see your site first, because it is built from your Google listing rather than from a blank page.

Is it free?

Yes. You get a live site on your own name.clay.site address with a small badge in the footer, and nothing expires. The paid plan is your own domain, the badge removed and the pro features.

Do I need any tech skills?

None. If you can type your business name, you can build a Clay site: the live page is the editor, so you tap the thing you want to change. There is no code anywhere, and nothing to install or keep updated, see the WordPress comparison for what that saves.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, buy it wherever you like and point it at Clay on a paid plan; the certificate is issued for you. Until then the free name.clay.site address is a real one you can print, and it keeps working afterwards.

Should the prices be on the page?

Yes. A group standing outside is comparing two bars on exactly one number, and the one that hid it is the one they walk away from.

What photograph should open the page?

The room, shot after dark with people in it. A photograph of a drink could be any bar in the world.

Do I need bookings?

If you hold tables, say so and take them: how the booking works. If you do not, saying that is worth just as much.
