shelled pecan halves A real Clay site, built from a Google listing

An Andalusian city built around the tapeo, sunlit plaza terraces and family-run tabernas, where flamenco, feria and a slow midday rhythm shape independent hospitality.

Breakfast is a tostada with tomato, olive oil or manteca colorá washed down with café con leche, taken at a bar counter. In the fierce summer heat, cafés serve café con hielo poured over ice, and the Alameda has become the hub for the city's newer specialty spots. Whatever your café is known for, Clay turns your Google listing into a real website, photos, hours, reviews and a map, so people in Seville find you and know what to expect before they visit.

Shade, Semana Santa and a summer that empties the streets

Seville in August is the hardest trading environment of any city here. Between two and eight the streets are empty, and a café without shade or air conditioning has no afternoon at all for two months.

The rest of the year is the opposite: Triana and the Alameda spill out from March, and Semana Santa and the Feria rearrange every opening hour in the city for two weeks each. Both are one-offs, and one-offs are the thing a website is usually wrong about.

Questions

How long does it really take?

Most people are live in two to three minutes, search your business, pick a style, publish. There is nothing to install and no signup needed to see your site first, because it is built from your Google listing rather than from a blank page.

Is it free?

Yes. You get a live site on your own name.clay.site address with a small badge in the footer, and nothing expires. The paid plan is your own domain, the badge removed and the pro features.

Do I need any tech skills?

None. If you can type your business name, you can build a Clay site: the live page is the editor, so you tap the thing you want to change. There is no code anywhere, and nothing to install or keep updated, see the WordPress comparison for what that saves.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, buy it wherever you like and point it at Clay on a paid plan; the certificate is issued for you. Until then the free name.clay.site address is a real one you can print, and it keeps working afterwards.

How do I handle Feria and Semana Santa hours?

On the site, not on Google. Your normal week comes from your Business Profile and stays current by itself; Google keeps one-off holiday exceptions separately and Clay does not read those, so a Feria week is an edit on the page. It takes a minute and it is live immediately.

Everything shuts in the afternoon here. Does the site handle that?

Yes, and it is the ordinary case rather than an exception. A day can carry two windows, so closed from four and open again at eight is stated properly, and the line at the top says when you open rather than showing a table somebody has to read.

Can I show my menu?

Yes, Clay has a menu widget with sections, prices and photos. A café that generates from Google gets a menu block pre-filled, ready for you to tweak.
