A website for burger places, live in minutes

A real Clay site, built from a Google listing

One good photograph and the hours settle it. Everything else on the page is for the people who already decided.

Takes less than a minute · no sign-up or credit card required

This is the least deliberated meal anybody eats out. The decision takes about eleven seconds and it is made on a photograph.

So the page opens on the burger, full width, and the hours are the next thing on it. Clay builds the site from your Google listing and puts the collection order under both, because the customer who orders ahead at half six is the one who would otherwise have looked at the queue and gone somewhere else.

Why Clay

01

It pulls your info from Google

No blank page. Clay reads your Google business listing and fills in your name, photos, hours, map and reviews automatically.

02

A real website, not just links

Menus, bookings, a shop, a gallery, contact, Clay is a full site that also works as a link-in-bio, not a list of buttons.

Yours to grow

Bring a custom domain, add pro widgets, run multiple sites. It scales from a bio link to a full business site.

Your photographs, already sorted

Clay reads the pictures on your Google listing, grades them, crops them for the shape each band needs and puts the best one at the top. Nothing to upload, nothing to resize.

The photograph

One burger, shot properly, and nothing over it

A page that opens on a grid of eight small pictures is a page nobody looked at. Open on one, big, and let it do the arguing.

Take it yourself in daylight by the window. A phone in good light beats a stock photograph of somebody else's food, and it is the only picture on the internet of what you actually serve.

The two things being asked at half six

Hours that come from your Google listing and change when you change them there. A wrong closing time on a Sunday is a customer standing outside a dark window.

Collection orders with a time on them. It costs the kitchen nothing to make one at twenty past instead of at the counter, and it wins the customer who cannot face the queue.

Questions

How long does it really take?

Most people are live in two to three minutes, search your business, pick a style, publish. There is nothing to install and no signup needed to see your site first, because it is built from your Google listing rather than from a blank page.

Is it free?

Yes. You get a live site on your own name.clay.site address with a small badge in the footer, and nothing expires. The paid plan is your own domain, the badge removed and the pro features.

Do I need any tech skills?

None. If you can type your business name, you can build a Clay site: the live page is the editor, so you tap the thing you want to change. There is no code anywhere, and nothing to install or keep updated, see the WordPress comparison for what that saves.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, buy it wherever you like and point it at Clay on a paid plan; the certificate is issued for you. Until then the free name.clay.site address is a real one you can print, and it keeps working afterwards.

Do I need a booking system?

Almost certainly not. Burger places fill by walk-in, and a booking form on this page is a question nobody asked.

How many photographs should be on it?

One doing the work at the top and a handful further down. A wall of pictures at the top is the most common way this page gets ignored.

Is collection worth setting up?

It is the one thing that grows the takings without a bigger kitchen: what a shop band adds.
